Your chance for a genuine pause
About OYC’s yin yoga classes
In a world that rarely stops, this is your invitation to pause.
Yin Yoga is a gentle, grounding practice that offers you something truly rare — stillness. Each class is a sacred hour of slowing down, softening inward, and giving your nervous system the deep rest it’s been quietly yearning for.
Supported by mindful breath, long-held postures, and poetic stillness, this practice isn’t about stretching or striving. It’s about receiving. About creating space — physically, mentally, emotionally — to simply be.
In this space, you are held.
You are not too much. You do not need to change.
You are already whole — and you are so welcome here.
Come exactly as you are and gift yourself this genuine pause — a quiet, powerful return to you.

This 9-week yin yoga program is thoughtfully designed for women balancing busy lives, offering a soothing space to find stress relief and emotional balance. A soulful hour to release, restore, and return to your inner truth.

Hi, I’m Katie…
I know what it feels like to be carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. As a woman who has a tendency to put others needs before my own, I understand how easily you can lose touch with your own needs. That’s why I created this 9-week yin yoga term — to offer a dedicated, calming space where you can nurture yourself, release tension and rediscover the peace within.
Whether you’re new to yoga or seeking a deeper, more restorative practice, my Yin Yoga classes are designed to support you in your journey toward emotional balance, physical relaxation, and mental clarity.

FAQs
Is this class suitable for beginners?
Yes! These yin yoga classes are designed to be gentle and accessible for all levels, including beginners. No prior experience is needed.
Is this classes suitable for pregnancy or postpartum?
Yes, absolutely. Both my Yin Yoga and Gentle Flow Yoga classes are slow, gentle, and soulfully paced — making them suitable for most people during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
I offer variations and supportive options throughout each class, and you're always encouraged to listen to your body and move in a way that feels right for you. That said, I do recommend checking in with your healthcare provider before attending, especially if you're in your first trimester or recovering from birth.
If you are pregnant or postpartum, feel free to reach out and let me know ahead of time — I’ll be sure to offer any additional modifications to ensure you feel comfortable, supported, and safe throughout your practice.
You are always welcome — just as you are.
What happens if I miss a class or need to cancel?
As the classes are part of a set term, they are non-refundable. However, if you have extenuating circumstances, please reach out to me at katie@omyogacollective.com.au and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
What do I need to bring?
You only need to bring your own mat. All other props, such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets, will be provided.
Can I attend if I have physical limitations?
Absolutely! Yin yoga is a restorative practice, and I will guide you to modify poses as needed. The focus is on relaxation, flexibility, and healing, and you are actively encouraged to move at your own pace, and to listen to your body.
